Dear family & friends,
Julie and I want to thank you for visiting our wedding blog (the #1 place on the web for details regarding our wedding!) and hope it helps you with your plans for traveling to Birmingham. Any updates will always be listed on the right for your convenience.
We will also post random thoughts or stories regarding our wedding plans for your (and mainly our) amusement. If you haven't been following along we hope you will from now on. Past posts are listed at the very bottom on the right entitled, "Blog Archive".
In addition, there is a link to the hotel where we have reserved a block of rooms for you at the Hilton Embassy Suites. You can either click on the link and enter code "MHW" to receive our special rate or call the number listed and make a reservation under the "Mummert-Harris Wedding".
Included with your room is a buffet style breakfast that runs from 7:30-10:30 am with both hot and cold items and you also have the option of an omelette cooked to order with your choice of toppings. There is also a complimentary manager's reception from 5:30-7:30 pm daily and offers a variety of beer, wine, liquor and sodas.
Also, you will see a link to The Sonnet House, where the ceremony and reception will take place, along with directions to and from the hotel. Directions to and from the rehearsal dinner at Veranda on Highland are also included.
Finally, below the hotel information, is a listing of restaurants, bars, golf courses, shopping areas, et cetera if you are looking for something to do or eat during your down time in Birmingham.
